A blockbuster of a wine and typical of the Heathcote region. The colour is dark and dense the nose is full of dark fruits. The palate is full of spice and complex fruit characters and has a long seamless finish with silky smooth tannins.
A wine to enjoy now but will cellar well for 8 to 10 years.

2003 Cabernet/Merlot
The succession of drought years, whilst depressing as we watch our garden die, has produced some stunning wines. The dry seasons have reduced yields over the last several years and this shows in the intensity and power both of this wine and the shiraz.
A luscious drink now, keep it for 10 to 12 years if you can.
